How to View Archived Stories on Facebook – Over time, there have been a series of changes in the Facebook social media platform. These changes so far; though subtle, have equally affected the interface of the app.
However, these changes are barely noticed by some of the users on the platform due to the fact that the changes are only accessible to very few users.
The ‘See Archive’ setting was initially positioned at the top of the news feed on the Facebook app home page. But, unfortunately, now it is missing.
If you have noticed this, you would agree that it is very annoying not to find stories you intentionally or mistakenly archived for future reference.
Not to worry. In as much as the archive setting option is no more on the Facebook home page, you can still access your archived stories. Yes! you can.
The Facebook team, however, has not stated their reasons for hiding the archive button. But the button can be found somewhere still in the app, although it is difficult to find.
Now that you know that your archived stories are not lost, let’s see how to View Archived Stories on Facebook.
What are Facebook Archived Stories?
There is a feature on the Facebook app that automatically saves all the stories posted by a user after the posts must have disappeared.
So, with this feature, you can view and save your disappeared stories in the future, re-share them if need be and also save the story (photo or video) to your phone.
You can also create a story highlight. This is done by simply choosing one or more stories from the past.
